We listened to what Wonderers had to say about sleeping in The Fields last year and explored ways to help you beat the heat during the day. We realized that the best way to do this was to rethink our options for Boutique Tents, taking a similar approach to how we build everything else in The Fields: working with the land’s rhythms and demands.
To shield Wonderers from the Thai sun, we introduced a new type of tent in 2024: Pavilion Tents. We built shelters with palm-leaf thatched roofs, supported by repurposed wooden beams. We added hanging lamps and tasteful decorations from locally-sourced materials, added bamboo mats inside and a covered, outdoor patio.
Wonderers reported back that the roofs significantly lowered the temperature inside the tents, keeping them cool all day long, even in the peak of the sun’s heat.
And so we’re adding more of these fully shaded, air-conditioned tents to Boutique Camping.

Sleep in the coolest tents in The Fields
Because Pavilion Tents are fully protected from the sun all day, the air-conditioning is far more effective. Even in the middle of the day, these tents stay 3–4 degrees cooler than Bell Tents, lowers the temperature even when the air-conditioning isn’t turned on.
These roofs don’t just protect guests from heat—they’re much-needed shelter from the elements when the weather gets unpredictable, especially with the changing climate on our planet. No matter how the elements end up surprising us, the extra coverage comes in handy to stay warm and dry.
Locations that suit how you like to wonder
We’ve built more Pavilion Tents in both of our zones: The Hideaway and The Grove.
If you’re looking for a peaceful getaway while you recharge and ready yourself for the day (or night), The Hideaway, is a quieter area of Boutique Camping. A little further afield, these tents are tucked away in the trees, with enough peace and quiet for longer, deeper sleeps.
For our Wonderers who prefer to be right in the action, The Grove is right in the heart of everything, just steps from the central hub of community and activity.

Cozier stays with hotel-style conveniences
Each Pavilion Tent comes with one queen bed with a cloud-soft mattress by LOTUS, complimentary amenities like organic toiletries, soft linens and a full-length mirror. There’s plenty of space to store all your things, including a secure lock box. All guests have access to custom-built, permanent showers and restrooms—with more features and comforts than last year.
If you need a break from the rhythms of The Fields, relax in an intimate lounge area inside the tent, or unwind in a breezy outdoor space with bamboo tables and chairs.

More ways to share Pavilion Tents
This year, we’re introducing the option to add an extra single bed, so groups of up to three friends can enjoy Pavilion Tents and all their boutique features.
Traveling alone and don’t want to miss out? Shared Pavilion Tents are available this year, offering a more affordable way to enjoy all the comforts of these fully shaded tents.
Never miss a moment in Boutique Camping
Staying on-site means more time to discover and explore, with the added convenience of being able to rest and recover whenever you need. No matter where you stay in Boutique Camping, you’re always just a short stroll from The Fields—no need to wait for shuttles, battle for taxis or drive home after a long night of dancing.
Wonder lasts longer when you stay in The Fields. Our guest-only restaurant and bar is always a hub of activity, where like-minded Wonderers gather by the lake to kick back and socialize. Enjoy curated experiences, menus and moments only available to Boutique Campers. You’ll make new friends, or if you’re a returning Wonderer, greet familiar faces.
